The Evora apartment is a quaint village property designed for a comfortable stay for up to four people. Nestled within a serene apartment complex, it occupies a tranquil spot in Sinies, Northern Corfu, offering captivating vistas of Kerasia Beach and the picturesque Corfu-Albania strait.

Situated on the upper floor of the building, tucked below the main street of Corfu-Kassiopi, this charming abode features two air-conditioned bedrooms and a front balcony commanding panoramic views of the sea and Kerasia bay below. Accessible via a stone staircase, a rear balcony greets visitors at the entrance, leading into a small alleyway.

Upon entry, guests encounter a family shower/toilet to the left and a twin bedroom opposite. The small compact yet functional kitchen area extends into a small sitting room, providing a cosy space for intimate meals. Adjacent to this area lies a double bedroom with a sea-facing aspect. Both the kitchen and bedroom boast balcony doors opening onto a front balcony, offering unparalleled views of the bay, the Albanian narrows, and the verdant hillsides.

General Information

Kalami is one of Corfu's most picturesque spots of natural beauty. Residing 30km from Corfu Town and is a settlement of Gimari village.
The main beach lies in front of the settlement and it is composed by white shiny pebbles and turquoise waters. Kalami Beach is world-famous at it had inspired the English author Gerald Durrell for his novel "My Family and Other Animals", during his stay in a village home, The White House exists at the right end of the Bay. Also, the beach is popular for its sparkling iridescent sea and organises a wide variety of watersports and activities, boat hire and traditional coastal Tavernas serving a wealth of tasty local specialities, all this with the most beautiful views on the horizon of the mysterious peaks of nearby Albania.
The traditional settlement is surrounded by verdant vegetation and lush green pine forests attracting many visitors, making Kalami an unforgettable jewel of North East Corfu.

Liked the view

Liked: The view. Although the description says you need a car if you’re relatively fit, there is a path that leads down to the beach as you exit the property and turn right onto the main road. It’s a little further down on the right you need to be reasonably fit, but we managed it daily without any any problem and the beaches down there are lovely.
