Villa Katerini ist ein traditionelles Steinhaus (erbaut im 17. Jahrhundert), sehr geräumig für eine Familie oder Gruppe von acht Personen, nur 5 Autominuten von Gaios auf Paxos entfernt, klimatisiert, mit einem großen privaten Pool und einer atemberaubenden Aussicht und Landschaft über dem Ionischen Meer.

Layout
Diese ruhige Steinvilla erstreckt sich über zwei Ebenen.
Das Erdgeschoss besteht aus einem offenen Raum mit einem Sitz- und Essbereich, einer voll ausgestatteten Küche, die durch eine schöne Steinarbeitsfläche getrennt ist, einem Familien-Duschbad und drei Schlafzimmern: Zwei Einzelbetten (mit en-suite Dusche und Bad) und ein Doppelzimmer .
An der Vorderseite dieses Bereichs befindet sich ein geräumiger Balkon mit herrlichem Meerblick, Sitz- und Essgelegenheiten und einer traditionellen Pergola aus Holz.
Auf der Rückseite befindet sich neben dem festen Grill ein weiterer Sitz- und Essbereich für diejenigen, die im Freien speisen oder ihre Kochkünste ausprobieren möchten.
Über eine Innentreppe erreichen Sie das vierte Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett auf der oberen Ebene, das auch über ein eigenes Duschbad verfügt.

Pool und Terrassen
Eine Außentreppe aus Stein führt vom Erdgeschoss in einen niedrigeren Bereich, wo der private große Pool schön in der Mitte der sonnigen Terrassen liegt, die von traditionellen Steinmauern umgeben sind und das Ionische Meer überblicken.
Die ideale Lage der Villa Katerini in Paxos, zusammen mit der spektakulären Aussicht, der kurzen Nähe zu Gaios und seinen lokalen Einrichtungen, machen dieses ruhige Anwesen zu einem idealen Nest für diejenigen, die einen unvergesslichen Urlaub abseits von allem verbringen möchten.

Lage

General Information

Gaios is the capital of Paxos Island and the largest port, serving large ferries, hydrofoils and sea taxis from Corfu and Igoumenitsa.

As the largest town on the island, Gaios is relatively small and quaint, with Venetian architecture, a labyrinth of side streets, and pedestrian squares along the seafront. Restaurants and snack bars are scattered throughout the town, catering to all tastes and demands.

The surrounding olive groves offer a high standard of local Greek cuisine, a must-try for every visitor. Local amenities include a post office, banks, a chemist, a doctor's surgery, gift shops, a high school, jewellery and handmade craft shops, as well as supermarkets, bakeries, and butchers.

Gaios has a range of waterfront bars, ranging from quiet traditional coffee places to livelier bars playing a variety of music. Taxis are limited in number, and the bus service is regular, and it enables you to reach the resorts of Loggos and Lakka or smaller neighbourhoods.

Gaios is one of the most popular and cosmopolitan resorts in the Mediterranean. Hundreds of VIPs visit Gaios or reside in their private properties every summer, and finding a place to stay during the peak season can be challenging.

This is a really lovely villa. We were a family of eight adults and it was spacious and accomdated us all well Paxos is a beautiful island and well worth a visit

Touch of Paradise" at Gaios Villa

Well where to begin... it was just a touch of paradise!!!Amazing view from the house, 3 terraces to enjoy either the sun or the shadow, a big swimming pool and the luxury to have a private bathroom in all the rooms. Coffee machines (one is Dolce Gusto compatible) and everything you need in the kitchen. Nothing more would be needed!The situation is perfectly located on a hill (car or scooter will be required) close to Gaios. But thanks for the great location, all the places are quickly reachable, that was perfect.There is an excellent restaurant close to the villa (5mn walking), called Restaurant Thymari. It was one of the best we did on the island. I could only recommend this place, the pictures you can see are not reflecting the truth. It's MUCH better!

Lovely Property with Ample Space and Character

Beautiful property, so much space and character with different entertaining areas to suit all age groups, lovely pool too..showers and mattresses need upgrading but other than that, it was fab
