The Old Mill was beautiful

The Old Mill was beautiful - a characterful home, beautifully decorated and with gorgeous outdoor spaces. The only improvements would have been to have had a toilet on the ground floor or near to the pool instead of using the en-suites upstairs - and aircon in all the bedrooms - but we got used to it! The drive up to the house was a bit wild as it is so steep - especially as we had two cars - but we made it work. The pool is a highlight, with additional covered outdoor space with a fridge . Overall the whole place is magical, so many nooks and crannies to explore with doves and dragonflies occasionally coming to drink from the pool. It felt restful, peaceful and the views are incredible. It's minutes away from Frigiliana in the car and a handy Lidl towards Nerja for stocking up. Eos were super quick to respond prior to arriving. (Recommend Malagacar for great car rental Molino Viejo - we'll be back!

We had a wonderful stay in La Molineta

We had a wonderful stay in La Molineta. The villa is even more lovely than the photos suggest, with plenty of space for a family including three teenagers. The pool area is excellent and, as with the villa and grounds, maintained to a very high standard. There are numerous terraces to catch the sun/shade at different points in the day, all with plentiful comfortable seating and umbrellas. Air conditioning in the living area and two of the bedrooms was a boon. The kitchen is modern and very well equipped. We had a car and used it for trips out to Antequera and Granada (around 90 mins away), Nerja and surrounding beaches (10 mins) and from and to the airport in Malaga (60 mins). The villa is a 20 minute walk from the centre of Frigliana and there is a bakery on the nearer side of the town about a 10 minute walk away. These walks do include some steeper sections, so a good level of mobility/fitness is required. This is genuinely a beautiful villa in a stunning location.

This house is amazing

This house is amazing, it is much more spacious than the photos show and so private too which we loved. It is the perfect place to be out on the mountainside but just a short 15 minute drive to the beach / Nerja and 5 minutes into the village of Frigiliana or to the nearby shops. The driveway up to the house is a steep one but manageable if you’re a confident driver and follow their detailed instructions. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped for family meals at the villa. Everything was clean and tidy and the pool was cleaned regularly while we were there for a week. The gardens are beautiful and so nice to have several spaces that you can enjoy through the days and evenings. 2 of the bedrooms have aircon and the others had fans, all bedrooms have on suit shower rooms with toilets which is really nice to have too. We certainly hope to return again soon!

fantastic stay

We had a fantastic stay at this Villa it felt more like a home than a rental.Very well provided for in the kitchen area with lovely BBQ and lots of great seating areas.Pool was fantastic and great to have a drinks fridge in that are. Only the access up the very steep hill was a little problematic but we got used to it quite quickly.
