General Information

The area of Korakiana comprises of Ano Korakiana (upper) and Kato Korakiana (lower). A short drive away from Majestic Corfu Town and within easy reach of the popular beaches of the local area, Barbati, Ipsos, Dassia.

Ano Korakiana: Ano Korakiana is a historic settlement located 19km north of Corfu Town. The village was first inhabited during the medieval times and today it maintains a lot of traditional aspects of that time. Ano Korakiana was mainly populated by noble families who still give a dynamic presence with the well-preserved houses and the fine details from the 18th century. a fantastic example of traditional Corfiot architecture enjoying spectacular views over the Ionian Sea and beyond.

Kato Korakiana, now a busy settlement located just behind the ever-popular resort of Dassia, in easy reach of Corfu Town and on all the local bus routes. Once a 5 Century old traditional village around 1km from the beaches of DassiaDassia. It now has a cosmopolitan feel as apartments now nestle with luxury villas cleverly concealed by tall trees and verdant vegetation. The close-by resort of Dassia has all the main facilities you will need on holiday.

There are no large Hotels or Complexes, ideal for absolute relaxation and secluded from the crowds. A good array of village shops, Tavernas and Cafes line the main village area and Corfu Town is just around a 20 minute drive away.

Amazing

This villa was awesome. First of all, everything inside is brand new and you can find all the things you can posibile need during a holiday, even if you are planning to cook. The livingroom is extremely spacios, with an open-space kitchen, the beds are very comfy and the bathrooms modern and clean. There is also a big yard with a barbeque place. Last but not least, the host (Spyros) is very nice and friendly and he made sure that we have everything we needed.
