Loved this Airbnb - the view from the balcony is gorgeous and exactly as seen in the photos. The location was great for us - quiet area, there is a delicious taverna two doors down, and around a 5-10min walk to the beach (as other reviews have said this is a steep descent through an olive grove so be prepared to get your steps in). The Airbnb had everything you needed, including an umbrella for the beach which was frequently used in the July heat! The only issue we had was finding the location for a taxi but this was rectified with a quick call to the host who was responsive! There is two aircon units which was plenty and kept the space very cool. Would stay again!

The Old Office, a simple Corfu house, is a house set all on one level in the village of Kalami Corfu, just a breath away from a local taverna at walking distance to the sea, 31 minutes from the airport.
The house has air-conditioning in the bedroom and the lounge. It sleeps up to 2 people in 1 bedrooms. There is however a possibility to accommodate 2 extra children on request in the lounge area with the use of the lounge beds.

The property has a double bedroom, a lounge, a kitchen, a dinner and a family bathroom. It resides in 45 square metres of space.
There is also the option of meal delivery in the property from the nearby restaurant or taverna. Nearby supermarkets can delivery groceries and basic essentials to the property. The owner is conveniently located near the property to provide any assistance needed.
The property has been reported to be good for children.

Localisation

General Information

Kalami is one of Corfu's most picturesque spots of natural beauty. Residing 30km from Corfu Town and is a settlement of Gimari village.
The main beach lies in front of the settlement and it is composed by white shiny pebbles and turquoise waters. Kalami Beach is world-famous at it had inspired the English author Gerald Durrell for his novel "My Family and Other Animals", during his stay in a village home, The White House exists at the right end of the Bay. Also, the beach is popular for its sparkling iridescent sea and organises a wide variety of watersports and activities, boat hire and traditional coastal Tavernas serving a wealth of tasty local specialities, all this with the most beautiful views on the horizon of the mysterious peaks of nearby Albania.
The traditional settlement is surrounded by verdant vegetation and lush green pine forests attracting many visitors, making Kalami an unforgettable jewel of North East Corfu.
