Sport & Nature
Barbati is an excellent base for walking holidays, thanks to its prime position at the foot of Mount Pantokrator.
Water sports of all types are available just at the front of the beach as well as boat hire. Please check out the official walking trails too.
If you continue with boat on to Kassiopi and moor up, you can enjoy a coffee or shop for souvenirs while taking a break around the most picturesque harbors of the North East coast. On your return to Barbati, marvel at the stunning scenery of the northeast coastline. If you have time, take a walk up to the main road where even more tavernas, bars, supermarkets, and tourist shops can be found. This is the main road to the North East of Corfu, where more tavernas, bars, and shops line the way. Along this road lies the church of Saint Marina, majestically located in Barbati Village. The festival celebrated each year on July 17th is not to be missed. A traditional festival takes place in the grounds with a live band and a large barbecue featuring Souvlaki and Spit-roasted Lamb for purchase.
