General Information
Coral Bay is located just 20km from Paphos International Airport a 30-minute drive away, many International flights regularly visit the island.
It is set on a golden sandy beach, featuring safe shallow waters, local tavernas, water sports and nestled among limestone headlands surrounded by mysterious sea caves.
Coral Bay is the finest example of one of the many sandy beaches found all over Cyprus and is one of the main attractions for numerous visitors throughout the year.
Beach chairs and umbrellas can be rented and are supplied, with small tables for drinks or just spread out your towel in the heat of soft Mediterranean sands. Lifeguards stroll along the beach at all times, patrolling and there are restrooms and showers available. Remember, it tends to get quite hot during the day here, so be sure to stay hydrated.
Coral Bay is not just the Coral Bay beach itself, but also the neighbouring area, including the village of Pegeia, which is packed with little curio shops, roadside stalls, and vendors of fashion, trinkets and souvenirs.
Whilst in the resort, you can visit ancient heritage sites, located just a few minutes away, dine in traditional Tavernas, while away the time at a Cafe Bar or simply enjoy the modern nightlife, all within the Coral Bay area.
A visit to the historic water well or Vrisi, in Pegeia or to Akamas National Park is always worthwhile.
