General Information
Psarou is well-knownfor attracting celebrities and well personalities from all over the world. It is an idyllic virgin beach with fine white sand and crystal clear turquoise waters, set against a backdrop of lush vegetation in a quaint tiny bay, just a mere 4 km from Mykonos town.
The beach is awash with luxury hotels fancy restaurants, tavernas, and mini markets and it is within easy walking distance to Platys Gialos, another very popular beach on the Island.
Psarou is one of the first established beaches on the island, it is well-sheltered an doffers an array of water sports, (paragliding, jet skiing, surfing) as well as one of the biggest scuba diving centres of the Island.
The beach can be reached by local bus (Disembark at Platis Gialos, a short walk away from Psarou), by car or motorbike (be prepared to drive down a steep slope), as well as by boat, which is leaving from Ornos beach
