We stayed in Fede Villa which was a great location for walking back and forth to the town’s restaurants and the harbour. It’s a steep hill so could be tricky for some people but if you’re fit and healthy it’s no problem. The Villa was comfortable and well equipped, it’s the furthest of the four villas from the shared pool but this wasn’t a problem really. The WiFi was weak, as was the water pressure but probably to be expected as the island is remote. We had a very relaxing time and the friendly little villa cat with no ears was a lovely addition- the poor thing loves people and never tried to enter the villa, just sat in the garden purring, my children got very attached. Fede - Danilia Luxury Cottages

Fede is a beautiful one-bedroom apartment located in the tranquil village of Gaios Paxos. The shared 7x4 metre swimming pool and terrace offer stunning views of the Gaios Port. The lounge has air conditioning and a comfortable sofa bed that can accommodate 2 children. Fede can comfortably sleep up to 4 persons. The apartment is surrounded by 2000 square metres of ground and offers panoramic sea and sunrise views. It features Wi-Fi internet, a smart TV, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area. The property also has a garden of 2500m2, making it ideal for families with children. With a spacious 70 square metres of living space, Fede is perfect for a luxurious holiday in Paxos.

General Information

Gaios is the capital of Paxos Island and the largest port, serving large ferries, hydrofoils and sea taxis from Corfu and Igoumenitsa.

As the largest town on the island, Gaios is relatively small and quaint, with Venetian architecture, a labyrinth of side streets, and pedestrian squares along the seafront. Restaurants and snack bars are scattered throughout the town, catering to all tastes and demands.

The surrounding olive groves offer a high standard of local Greek cuisine, a must-try for every visitor. Local amenities include a post office, banks, a chemist, a doctor's surgery, gift shops, a high school, jewellery and handmade craft shops, as well as supermarkets, bakeries, and butchers.

Gaios has a range of waterfront bars, ranging from quiet traditional coffee places to livelier bars playing a variety of music. Taxis are limited in number, and the bus service is regular, and it enables you to reach the resorts of Loggos and Lakka or smaller neighbourhoods.

Gaios is one of the most popular and cosmopolitan resorts in the Mediterranean. Hundreds of VIPs visit Gaios or reside in their private properties every summer, and finding a place to stay during the peak season can be challenging.

Beautiful property with a lovely swimming pool

L’île de Paxos est magnifique et le logement Fede est parfait pour l’explorer, à proximité immédiate du petit port de Gaios (5 mins à pieds) et de ses nombreux restaurants et magasins, mais suffisamment à l’écart pour vous retrouver dans un ensemble paisible avec une très jolie piscine et une terrasse dans les oliviers pour les petits déjeuners. La communication avec l’hôte est fluide et l’arrivée flexible appréciable.Correspond en tous points aux photos.Conseil : louer une voiture pour pouvoir faire le tour de l’île.(EN:The area around Paxos is magnificent and Fede&#39;s accommodation is perfect for exploring, being very close to the small port of Gaios (5 minutes on foot) and its many restaurants and shops, but far enough away to find yourself in a peaceful setting. Beautiful property with a lovely swimming pool and a terrace in the olive trees for children. Communication with the hotel is smooth and the bar is flexible and appreciable. It corresponds in every way to the photos. Advice: rent a car to be able to tour the property.)

My family & I really enjoyed our time at Fede

My family & I really enjoyed our time at Fede. Peaceful, calm, quiet but 6-7 mins walk down into the town. The cottage was as described, cute, Greek but everything worked. We walked our cases up after arriving from the new port but would probably arrange a transfer if doing again (we did for the return trip) Pool is nice, peaceful, clean & well maintained. Hosts communicative and helpful. Would stay again & recommend to others

a very pleasant stay

Had a very pleasant stay with my fiance and 9-year old. The complex in general is very pretty and the pool area is great. Each house has a private outdoor area, where breakfast, dinner etc. can be enjoyed.The villa was great and very clean! It is a short walk into town and generally easily accessible, apart from the little hill from the parking lot to the houses with luggages. Overall a very pleasant stay and would recommend to anyone visiting Paxos!
