Lovely place to stay but you will need a car or bike. A little shady but sometimes this is good. The villa has everything you need and was clean and tidy. Gaios is just down the hill, approximately 5 minutes in the car

Prasini is a stylish and spacious cottage in the Liakada Luxury Cottages complex, painted in sage green and pink. It includes a comfortable double bedroom, bathroom, living room with cooking facilities, and a sofa that converts into a second double bed. An outdoor patio is perfect for a romantic breakfast or dinner under the shade of olive trees. Liakada Luxury Cottages is a small complex consisting of three detached cottages set in a beautiful garden in Ozia Paxos, a privileged area near Gaios and stunning local beaches. Each house is fully air-conditioned, guaranteeing optimal privacy in an oasis of tranquillity.

Liakada offers self-check-in and self-catering, making it the ideal shelter for relaxation. The cottages are equipped with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a shared pool and patio for optimal privacy. Maid service is provided every other day, and laundry facilities, including a washing machine, iron, and ironing board, are available. Prasini Luxury Cottage also has a dining terrace and a comfortable living room. The complex is close to local beaches, with a sun umbrella and cooling bag provided for convenience.

The pool at Liakada Luxury Cottages is sophisticated, set on a detached patio at the back of Prasini and Kitrini cottages, surrounded by lush vegetation. A fitted shower provides the facility of warm water alongside the pool. Comfortable seating facilities and sunny surrounding pool terraces, in companionship with the quirks of the wild birds, promise a dreamy atmosphere and relaxation in the heart of Paxos' virgin countryside.

General Information

Gaios is the capital of Paxos Island and the largest port, serving large ferries, hydrofoils and sea taxis from Corfu and Igoumenitsa.

As the largest town on the island, Gaios is relatively small and quaint, with Venetian architecture, a labyrinth of side streets, and pedestrian squares along the seafront. Restaurants and snack bars are scattered throughout the town, catering to all tastes and demands.

The surrounding olive groves offer a high standard of local Greek cuisine, a must-try for every visitor. Local amenities include a post office, banks, a chemist, a doctor's surgery, gift shops, a high school, jewellery and handmade craft shops, as well as supermarkets, bakeries, and butchers.

Gaios has a range of waterfront bars, ranging from quiet traditional coffee places to livelier bars playing a variety of music. Taxis are limited in number, and the bus service is regular, and it enables you to reach the resorts of Loggos and Lakka or smaller neighbourhoods.

Gaios is one of the most popular and cosmopolitan resorts in the Mediterranean. Hundreds of VIPs visit Gaios or reside in their private properties every summer, and finding a place to stay during the peak season can be challenging.
