Cochelli Lower is a beautiful recently renovated two-bedroom apartment, part of villa Cochelli, a secluded property in the countryside, on top of a hill, in the area of Avlaki in Kassiopi, consisting of 4 self-contained apartments, with a shared swimming pool and very close to excellent beaches.

This charming property has two air-conditioned bedrooms with a shower/WC and beautiful terraces. It offers superb views of the surrounding hills and Pantocrator Mountain.

Layout

A staircase (from the pool and parking area) ascends to the house's ground floor and on its left-hand side, where the access to Cochelli Lower is set.

The entrance opens into an open space, which includes a small living room, kitchen, and dining table. Next to the kitchen is a door that opens to a small back terrace for those who would fancy some additional peace.

To the left of this space is a twin with a door opening onto a front balcony, a double bedroom with access to the rear terrace, and a shower/Wc shared by the two bedrooms.

At the front of the property is a small balcony with a staircase to the upper Apartment, which provides an incredible view of the surrounding countryside and the mountain in the distance.

Pool and Terraces

The communal pool is placed in front of the villa, in a convenient location, so that it remains sunny for the whole day, from sunrise to sunset.

It is surrounded by comfortable terraces, which offer all the comforts of sunbathing, reading in peace, or enjoying the tranquillity of the local countryside.

The Location

Cochelli Lower is the right holiday home for anyone who would like to holiday away from it all but also to be very close to them if needed. This attractive Apartment is close to the Avlaki beach and its nearby tavernas. It is still a few minutes away from Koyevinas Beach and only 1.8 kilometres from the centre of cosmopolitan Kassiopi.

Location

General Information

Kassiopi is both a village and popular resort on the affluent, reknowned northeast coast of Corfu, 37 km from the Town and the Airport. Historically, a small traditional fishing village, the town itself has evolved with many luxury private villas ATM's, Doctors Surgeries, Internet Cafes and Supermarkets, local Schools and even a Greek Orthodox Church.

Self drive Motorboats, simple and easy to operate, are available daily to weekly, boats with up to 30bhp can be secured with a simple car driving licence. Daily Coach and Boat excursions begin from Kassiopi Harbour and can be booked by local travel agencies running all over the island.

The main road to the North runs through the edge of the town, and a loop takes buses to the village square, approx. 250 yards from the Harbour. There is a local taxi base running 24 hours a day. Both Kassiopi and its surrounding areas are considered very safe at all times of the day, appealing to both couples and families.
Larger Private Villas adorn the hillsides and outskirts of Kassiopi, where simple apartment accommodation can also be found within the town centre.

The resort is lively both day and night and is locally known as the town that never sleeps!
Kassiopi appeals to those looking for life, both nightlife and daytime fun along with those interested in uncovering local history and traditions. Teenagers, families, couples or groups of friends, who are looking for the typical traditional charm of the North East coast, will all be forever content with Kassiopi.

Kalamionas, Bataria, Votana and Avlaki are some of the fabulous nearby beaches, all within walking distance from the village’s centre and pretty Harbour awash with its colourful boats and fishing smacks bobbing upon the crystalline Ionian Sea.

What a total hidden gem

What a total hidden gem. A lovely apartment in a beautiful location. It was spotlessly clean upon arrival, as was the outside area. Hard to believe that the busy, bustling town of Kassiopi is only 2km away. This was our little haven away from the tourists. The closest beach, Avlaki, is a 7-8 minute easy walk. It was not as busy as I expected for August. There are two tavernas at the beach. Cavo Barbaro was much more reasonably priced &amp; offered amazing Greek cuisine. Kassiopi has lots of fantastic Greek tavernas (check out Strofilia Taverna) &amp; some amazing shops. The leather shop &amp; olive wood shop, right next door to each other, are must visits! Cochelli Apartments are a perfect place to relax away from the tourists &amp; the noise. A great base to explore the north of the island. With only 4 apartments in the building the pool is never too busy. Eos were very responsive to queries. I needed extra linen for the sofa bed. Next day the cleaner &amp; maintenance man arrived &amp; set it all up. 5⭐

a lovely peaceful setting with fantastic views

Spent 2 weeks at Cochelli Villas (renovated lower apartment) in July. The accommodation consists of 4 apartments in a lovely peaceful setting with fantastic views. The large pool, which is shared with the other apartments, was kept very clean during our stay. The apartment was spacious enough for a family of 4, the kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms were fitted with very effective A/C. Interestingly, the 2 apartments on the left side of the block have been renovated but the 2 on the right have not. Hiring a car is the best way to get around (recommend Katerina's Cars) although the driving can be a bit 'challenging', it's an hour's drive from the airport. Many beaches (some stoney, some sandy) are just a few minutes drive away. The nearest is Avlaki beach, just a few minutes walk. Recommend the Cavo Barbaro restaurant there - fantastic food &amp; service. Kazianis supermarket at the top of the road sells all you need, Michaelangelo minimart has great homemade ice creams.

Great, airy, quiet, place to stay

Great, airy, quiet, place to stay away from the crowds of Kassiopi. Beautiful countryside, pool and the beach bay only 6 mins walk with two very nice tavernas.
