Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dieser Ferienwohnung und haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen.Besonders gefallen haben uns die tolle Lage und die sehr gut funktionierende Klimaanlage – gerade bei den sommerlichen Temperaturen war das ein großer Pluspunkt. Kalami ist ein wunderschöner Ort, und der Strand ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Das war für uns einfach perfekt.Auch die Ausstattung der Ferienwohnung ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet, das Badezimmer modern und alles war sehr sauber. Besonders gefreut haben wir uns über den Wechsel der Bettwäsche sowie die frischen Handtücher während unseres Aufenthalts.Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag betrifft die Müllentsorgung. Wir wussten leider nicht, wohin wir unseren Müll bringen konnten, da wir keine Mülltonnen in der Nähe gefunden haben. Zwar wurde der Müll bei der Reinigung mitgenommen, aber bei den sommerlichen Temperaturen wäre eine zusätzliche Möglichkeit zur Entsorgung zwischendurch wünschenswert.Etwas schade fanden wir außerdem, dass in einigen älteren Bewertungen von Sonnenliegen und einem Paddleboard die Rede war. Deshalb gingen wir zunächst davon aus, dass diese zur Unterkunft gehören. Da der Zugang zum Strand am Nachbargrundstück vorbeiführt und es keinen anderen Weg gibt, kam es zu einem Missverständnis. Als ich mich dort auf eine Liege gelegt hatte, wurde ich darauf hingewiesen, dass diese privat sind und nicht genutzt werden dürfen. Das haben wir selbstverständlich sofort akzeptiert. Der Ton des Gesprächs war jedoch leider sehr unfreundlich und hat mich persönlich sehr verletzt. Eine kurze Information in der Unterkunft darüber, welche Bereiche und Ausstattungen zur Ferienwohnung gehören und welche nicht, würde solche Missverständnisse sicher vermeiden.Insgesamt hatten wir dennoch einen wunderschönen Urlaub. A misunderstanding arose because the path to the beach leads past the neighboring property, and there is no other route. When I lay down on a lounger there, I was informed that they were private property and not for public use. Naturally, we accepted this immediately. Unfortunately, however, the tone of the conversation was very unfriendly, and I was personally quite hurt by it. A brief note in the apartment clarifying which areas and amenities belong to the rental—and which do not—would certainly help avoid such misunderstandings. Overall, though, we had a wonderful holiday; the great location, cleanliness, and excellent amenities made our stay very pleasant.

Katerina House is a tranquil village apartment, located just a few steps away from Kalami popular beach, in the neighbourhood of Kalami Corfu, spacious enough for a family or party of four.

This tranquil two bedrooms apartment offers spectacular balconies with sea-views over Kalami Bay, short proximity to all local facilities and it is not farther than 50 meters from the pebbly beach.

Katerina House is set on the ground level of Zoulis Apartments. It consists of an open plan area with dining table, kitchen with cooker and a small fridge, a family bathroom / wc and two air-conditioned bedrooms.

One of the bedrooms is a double and the second one is a twin. Both the bedrooms have got sea view balconies with the necessary sitting facilities, for those ones who would wish to enjoy their morning coffee admiring the spectacular sunrise.

Katerina House is centrally located in Kalami, it offers all those facilities for a relaxing holiday and it has been considered as the ideal property for any sea lovers , who would wish an early morning or a late evening dip in the crystal Kalami Bay waters without much hassle.

General Information

Kalami is one of Corfu's most picturesque spots of natural beauty. Residing 30km from Corfu Town and is a settlement of Gimari village.
The main beach lies in front of the settlement and it is composed by white shiny pebbles and turquoise waters. Kalami Beach is world-famous at it had inspired the English author Gerald Durrell for his novel "My Family and Other Animals", during his stay in a village home, The White House exists at the right end of the Bay. Also, the beach is popular for its sparkling iridescent sea and organises a wide variety of watersports and activities, boat hire and traditional coastal Tavernas serving a wealth of tasty local specialities, all this with the most beautiful views on the horizon of the mysterious peaks of nearby Albania.
The traditional settlement is surrounded by verdant vegetation and lush green pine forests attracting many visitors, making Kalami an unforgettable jewel of North East Corfu.
Just a short way from the beach, you will find a host of accommodations, an ideal environment for a peaceful and relaxing vacation combined with an ideal destination for nature lovers.
