Sehr sehr schöne Unterkunft, perfekt für 2 Leute. Unglaublich gute Restaurant mit dem Toulas Seaside um die Ecke. Direkt 2 Minuten am Meer, und 10 Minuten Fußweg zu einer unglaublich schönen Bucht mit einem kleinen "Beachclub" mit buchbaren Liegen, Getränken, Essen etc. Es ist nicht die günstigste Ecke zum Leben, dafür sprechen auch die vielen Yachten die dort täglich anlegen, dafür ist die Qualität des Essen und des Services rund um die Unterkunft dementsprechend sehr gut. (EN: Very, very nice accommodation, perfect for two people. An incredibly good restaurant, Toulas Seaside, is just around the corner. It's a two-minute walk from the sea, and a ten-minute walk to an incredibly beautiful bay with a small beach club offering bookable loungers, drinks, food, etc. It's not the cheapest place to live, despite the many yachts that dock there daily, but the quality of the food and service at the accommodation is correspondingly excellent.)

Korinas cottage is a magnificent Corfu stone house, nested only 70 meters from Agni beach, in a quiet place, with views to Agni Bay and the panoramic surrounding hills.

The cottage is a traditional Corfiot house, where the stone is the dominant element of the faith to the tradition and the nature of the area. It is an ideal place for relaxation, whether you are a young or an elderly couple, who would wish to be away from it all, but so close to them too.

Layout

Entering the outside gate, you get into a stone paved garden, with parking space on your right side, a fixed BBQ further up and an old traditional stone table with sitting facilities, just outside the house's main entrance, underneath a beautiful pergola.

The main entrance opens into a spacious area with a small but well-organized kitchen separated from the main bedroom with a double bed by a low wall.

Sitting and dining facilities are available in this area, and at the far right end, a small passageway leads to a very spacious bathroom.

The cottage's interior is beautifully decorated, but with simplicity, so that the nicely built stone walls can offer the maximum tranquillity and warmth to the tenants.

Barbecuing in the garden or dining al fresco in the evenings, just a few steps away from the roaring beach of Agni Bay can only promise a memorable holiday spent in this tranquil Corfiot cottage.

General Information

Agni Bay is one of the most celebrated holiday spots on the North East of Corfu.
It is only 24 km away from the town and the airport, easily accessible by boat or car, even though the winding access road is quite steep.
Agni is a small traditional neighbourhood of the Gimari community, set in a very picturesque bay with spectacular views across the "Corfu Channel" stretching to the mysterious shores of nearby Albania, it features three beachfront tavernas, a few boat hire companies and a waterside cafe bar.
Modest and peaceful. A perfect spot to while away the hours watching luxurious yachts and boats of the "smart-set" during the daytime, where it is even possible to dine directly from the moored craft. Sunbeds and Umbrellas can be hired for that tan top-up or that refreshing swim following your meal!

A number of tavernas provide a sea taxi transfer and back which can be paid directly with the restaurant bill! an added bonus for total sublimity away from those busy daily schedules.
Many picturesque villas are spread on the slopes of the surrounding hills and walking trails offer many hiking opportunities to the adjacent bays or up to Gimari village, well worth wandering away from the sea for a while, meandering through the shady olive groves, tasting traditionality.
