We had a fantastic stay!

Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt (EN: We had a fantastic stay! The location is superb: a beautiful view over the bay from the terrace, a very good restaurant nearby, and the beach, perfect for swimming and with other relaxing places to eat and drink, was easily and quickly accessible (via a somewhat steep and uneven path). The owners live next door, and everyone was very helpful and friendly. The private parking space for our rental car was also ideal. We felt completely at ease.) - REPLY: Sofia, es freut uns, dass Sie einen fantastischen Aufenthalt hatten! Vielen Dank für Ihre Rückmeldung.

We had a wonderfull time in Kalami. It was begin may and the weather was good. The communication about the place was very good. We had everything we needed. The woman living one building up was very nice. She came by to give us more toiletpaper and towels. The view is really gorgeous. There was enough privacy too. There was one really friendly cat. He came by every day. It didnt go inside and was very polite and cuddly. If you want to come to Kalami. Go to the lidl first in Kerkyra. The shops by the water are fine but the prices are really really high. The walk down was good. My mom is 68 and could manage. But if you have problems with knees and feet then search on. Thank you so much for the nice holiday!

The view from the terrace was amazing

The view from the terrace was amazing. We had everything we need - the host even got the induction cooker as we asked about it beforehand (I didn’t see a stovetop on the listing). The beds were very comfortable and it is a great place for family of 4 or 2 couples. The only thing to have in mind that the floor in the first floor is loud and every time someone went to the bathroom the steps woke up people on the ground floor. Otherwise I would highly recommend this place! There are two bathrooms so it was easy to get ready in the morning. The locations is amazing for sightseeing - it’s right in the middle of the attractions - the furthest we had to go took around 50 minutes (Korfu town 30 min, Ypsos 20, Cape Drastis 40, Porto Timoni 45). We were glad that we rent a car, there was a parking spot in the shade only for us. As the other reviews said the walk to the beach might be hard for some people and it took around 10 minutes. There’s a very friendly grey cat around to have in mind:)

a wonderful week

We had a wonderful week at Penelope’s house. Our host was excellent at communicating. Nothing was too much. They went above and beyond. The apartment was well equipped and the views were stunning. We absolutely loved sitting on the balcony in the morning and watching Kalami wake up. The stroll to the beach was only 5 minutes along a steep, small path and very quick on the way down. We did it with my 2 children 11 and 14. Not difficult if fit. The lady who owns the house was charming and helpful. The apartment was the perfect place from which to explore the island and it was especially helpful to have an allocated parking space. Kalami bay was stunning and we also enjoyed nearby Kouloura Bay. We came in April and the majority of tavernas and shops were closed but we managed to find and enjoy the smattering that opened and it suited us going at this time of the year as the roads were quiet and we had the beaches and sea to ourselves. Great Swimming and snorkelling! We’ll be back!
