Villa Arilia, a meticulously renovated traditional Corfu house nestled in the rural Agnitsini neighborhood of Sinnies, embodies the essence of tranquility and charm. Perched on the mountainside, it commands breathtaking views of the sea and features a refreshing swimming pool, making it an ideal retreat for a family or group of six seeking relaxation amidst an idyllic countryside setting.

Situated on the road linking the traditional Agnitsini neighborhood to the cosmopolitan Agios Stefanos NE, the villa boasts front balconies that open up to panoramic vistas stretching across the sea to Albania. The sun-kissed swimming pool (3 x 9m) adds to the allure, conveniently positioned on the same level as the ground floor.

Upon entering the ground floor through the right side of the marble staircase, residents encounter a fully equipped kitchen-diner, a cozy double bedroom, and a well-appointed family shower room. French doors from the dining area lead to the front terrace, where the inviting pool beckons with its sunbathing facilities.

Ascending the external marble staircase to the second level, a small utility kitchen and another family shower greet visitors on the way to the beautifully furnished living room. The living space opens to a front balcony offering mesmerizing sea views. Completing this charming abode are a double and a twin bedroom on the upper floor, all situated in the serene surroundings of a traditional Corfu neighborhood.

A boatman's paradise! self-drive boats can be hired all along the coastline to view the natural beauty of the area and the mystical coastline of nearby Albania.

The ruined settlement of northern Corfu, Old Sinies, stubbornly still stands in an elavated location at the foot of Mount Pantokrator!

The Siniotes set up sentries with light signals in specific locations i.e. “Viglai” or “Viglatouria” to warn the settlement inhabitants of the arrival of invaders and pirate ships in the bay.

The, once mansions of the area, lie abandoned, while the churches stubbornly still stand adorned with their unique murals.

The villa was lovely and clean and we had housekeeping once to come in and clean and make the beds. The villa is split into two apartments, which was fine for us as our children are from ages 13-22 yrs. A car is essential as the last bus is 18:30 . kasoppi is a beautiful town about 10 mins drive and the harbour is beautiful and the restaurants amazing.

The villa was stunning, with breathtaking views

The villa was stunning, with breathtaking views and a peaceful neighborhood that made for a truly relaxing stay. The bus stop to Kassiopi and Corfu was conveniently nearby, which is perfect for those not renting a car. If you're driving, I highly recommend following the directions provided by Serafin. The host was very responsive and quick to resolve any issues during our stay.
