We (my mother aged 62, myself aged 39, my sister aged 38 and my niece aged 10) had a lovely stay in Villa Eleni (Exeria) in mid-October 2022. The description of the villa provided mathed perfectly with the realities. The villa is newly built, everything works - and the views to the east over Albania are incredible. To the south of the villa - just next to the pool - a neighbour is building a new house, which regrettably blocks most of the views in that direction. The villa is located well away from the main-road - 15 minutes drive more or less straight uphill - which for us was a plus but is worth considering, in particular when booking a rental car, which is certainly needed. We had a BMW X2 and I would recommend something similar - the roads are narrow and steep. Communication with the agency was absolutely perfect and clear - and they were so kind to help us immediately when I by accident locked the keys inside the house. Thank you for that. All in all, for those who are looking for a quiet place a bit away from everybody else with great views, I am happy to recommend Villa Eleni Exeria.

Villa Eleni Exeria is a stone built and recently renovated rustic Corfu house, located in a remote area above Ag. Stefanos, near Porta - Sinies. It enjoys a private pool (4 X 8 m.) and exceptional views of the straights between Corfu and Albania, all the way to Paxos and Greek Mainland's coasts.
This attractive villa is set on two levels and a small annex, it is fully air conditioned, excellent decorated and it is spacious for a family or group of 6 or 7 people.
On the main road there is a private gate leading to villa Eleni Exeria courtyard and private parking. (From the parking area an easily driven slop lands on the terrace of the pool and close to the main entrance of the house).

Layout
The entrance to the main house leads to a modern open plan area, which houses a living room, a dining and a fully equipped kitchen. On the left hand side of the entrance is established a double bedroom and alongside bathroom with Jacuzzi.
French balcony doors open onto the large front balcony with the spectacular views of the Albanian coast and the Ionian Sea, which is fitted with a superb seating area,leading to the pool terrace.
An inner marble staircase lands on the basement and onto a small hallway.
To the right of this hallway is a walk-in closet and a beautifully decorated bathroom, both next to the master bedroom at the end of the hallway. The bedroom is fitted with a balcony door that opens to a cosy terrace with a seating area and unobstructed views of the Albanian coast and mountains.

The Self Contained Studio
Adjacent to the parking lot and on the right of the master bedroom is a separate exterior entrance, which opens onto an amazing self-catering studio-maisonette. This consists of a handy kitchenette, washing machine, tumble dryer and a bathroom with a shower on the ground floor, while a marble staircase leads to the attic which has been converted into a spectacular double bedroom.

Pool and Terraces
The stunning swimming pool (with Roman steps) is placed at the front of the villa, to ensure the full enjoyment of the view over the straights and to be easily accessed from the main house.
The surrounding terraces, facing the East, are paved with domestically mined stone and remain sunny for most of the day and tolerant for extensive sunbathing in tranquillity.
Next to the swimming pool has been established a nice gazebo with BBQ and a traditional baking oven, both at the discretion of anyone interested in tasting his cooking skills or enjoying a tasteful dinner, with a backdrop of the spectacular night views and the twinkling lights over the straights and the Ionian Sea.

The Location
Villa Eleni Exeria is not close to the bustling local tourist villages,(i.e. Kassiopi, Agios Stefanos, Kalami), but it is really doubtful if any of the occupants would ever decide to leave this panoramic miracle and tranquillity for anything else in the vicinity.

Location

General Information

Kassiopi is both a village and popular resort on the affluent, reknowned northeast coast of Corfu, 37 km from the Town and the Airport. Historically, a small traditional fishing village, the town itself has evolved with many luxury private villas ATM's, Doctors Surgeries, Internet Cafes and Supermarkets, local Schools and even a Greek Orthodox Church.

Self drive Motorboats, simple and easy to operate, are available daily to weekly, boats with up to 30bhp can be secured with a simple car driving licence. Daily Coach and Boat excursions begin from Kassiopi Harbour and can be booked by local travel agencies running all over the island.

The main road to the North runs through the edge of the town, and a loop takes buses to the village square, approx. 250 yards from the Harbour. There is a local taxi base running 24 hours a day. Both Kassiopi and its surrounding areas are considered very safe at all times of the day, appealing to both couples and families.
Larger Private Villas adorn the hillsides and outskirts of Kassiopi, where simple apartment accommodation can also be found within the town centre.

The resort is lively both day and night and is locally known as the town that never sleeps!
Kassiopi appeals to those looking for life, both nightlife and daytime fun along with those interested in uncovering local history and traditions. Teenagers, families, couples or groups of friends, who are looking for the typical traditional charm of the North East coast, will all be forever content with Kassiopi.

Kalamionas, Bataria, Votana and Avlaki are some of the fabulous nearby beaches, all within walking distance from the village’s centre and pretty Harbour awash with its colourful boats and fishing smacks bobbing upon the crystalline Ionian Sea.
