Kambos Dio is an alluring, contemporary villa nestled in a picturesque hillside location, at Steni Village, offering breathtaking vistas of the surrounding countryside and valley. Just 2.6 km from Polis Chrysochous, this tranquil retreat is cocooned within lush gardens and trees, ensuring privacy, while sharing its surroundings with the sister villa, Kambos Ena.

This charming villa boasts a private sun-kissed pool, four air-conditioned bedrooms, and inviting balconies, making it an ideal haven for families or groups of up to 8 seeking a peaceful getaway.

Layout:

Kambos Dio extends into two levels connected by an internal staircase. The ground floor features an open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area, adorned with French doors that open onto a sunny terrace and the magnificent pool. Adjacent to this space, you'll find a guest's WC, a double bedroom with an on-suite bathroom, and a door leading to a small terrace.

The interior staircase lands on the upper level, where you'll discover two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom, with two of them boasting on-suite shower rooms/WCs and one with an on-suite bathroom. Each of these bedrooms offers a balcony with captivating views of the unspoiled countryside and rolling hills.

Two mountain ranges (Troodos on the south-central part and Kyrenia mountains running along the northern coast of the island) traverse the island from east to west.
Cyprus' history dates back to the Neolithic period and it is famous for being the mythological birthplace of the Godess Aphrodite. In the 12th century B.C. a temple was erected in her honour.
In Paphos, you can find many places dedicated to her, such as the Rock of Aphrodite or “Petra Tou Romiou” said to be where she took her first steps on earth. Another place is the baths of Aphrodite, which are supposed to be the source of fertility and the fountain of love that is associated with her legend.
The name Paphos is the name of the daughter of Venus and Pygmalion.

Great accommodation, highly recommended

Super Unterkunft, absolut empfehlenswert! Es handelt sich um zwei Häuser die sehr abgelegen in der Nähe von Polis Chrysochous liegen. Die Häuser liegen an einem Feldweg mit vielen und teils tiefen Schlaglöchern. Man hat Privatsphäre und bekommt von dem anderen Haus eigentlich nichts mit.Das Haus selbst war wie auf den Fotos recht gepflegt. Es ist sehr groß, der Pool ist großartig und es ist eine gute Grundausstattung vorhanden. Wir waren dort zu dritt, aber es wäre ausreichend Platz für bis zu 8 Personen. Kleines Highlight neben dem Pool ist der Kohlegrill, der allerdings abends nicht beleuchtet ist. (EN: Great accommodation, highly recommended! There are two houses that are very remote near Polis Chrysochous. The houses are on a dirt road with lots of potholes, some of them deep. You have privacy and don't really notice the other house. The house itself was well maintained, as in the photos. It is very big, the pool is great and there is good basic equipment. There were three of us there, but there would be enough space for up to 8 people. A small highlight next to the pool is the charcoal grill, which is not lit in the evenings, however.)
