Villa Kasos is a charming rental property, perfectly located in the holiday resort of Kolymbia - Rhodes, air-conditioned, with a large private pool(7 X 4 m) and really spacious for a family or party of six persons.
It is closed to all local amenities and just a short drive to famous Afandou Beach, ideal for anyone seeking a relaxing stay in a quiet place away from it all.

Kasos is set in two levels, with sunny balconies, terraces, lovely gardens and countryside views.
The ground floor consists of an open plan fully equipped kitchen and living room area, with balcony doors opening onto the pool terraces and garden. Next to this area is located a twin bedroom and a family shower room.
The interior staircase lands on the upper level, which boasts a double and a twin bedroom that share in between a second family bathroom. Both the bedrooms enjoy private balconies overlooking the garden and the pool.

General Information

Kolymbia is a spectacular place with sandy beaches, which make this a favourite destination in Rhodes for many. With 5 star hotels, andsmall self catering villas and apartments, the village is very welcoming and maintains a very traditional appeal to visitors.

Accessing the village you are met by a wonderful Eucalyptus road leading onto the sandy beaches of Kolymbia. The resort on its own is perfect for both families with children or couples.

There is plenty to do in the village of Kolymbia and Rhodes Town is close enough for shopping and sightseeing.

Most of the time people head straight for the palm tree-lined beaches of Kolymbia and the available water sports. You can relax all day here and work on a tan or go snorkelling and fishing around the rocky outcrops. The beach stretches for what seems like miles and you will never become too overwhelmed, although quite a few parts of the beach are only for hotels' use, a spot can always be found.

Visitors can hire or rent sunbeds and umbrellas on a daily basis and there are a few seafront beach bars with great snacks to sample alongside refreshing drinks.

If lazing on the beach is not your thing, you can explore the area, which is perfect for anyone seeking to do a bit more on holiday, like mountain biking, walking or hiking.

There are plenty of shops and places to eat or bars to simply chill out.

Hiring a private boat and venturing out into the bay can always become an adventure to remember, as well as joining one of the many organised boat trips, which sail around the island and/or to the small island of Symi, once known for its natural sponges. Organised boat trips to Marmaris in Southern Turkey can also be arranged on a daily basis from Rhodes town, where you will be thrilled at visiting another country and continent! Most of the water sports are available in Kolymbia Beach, such as windsurfing, water skiing and jet skiing.

There are no clubs in the village for nightlife and should someone wishes for something more will have to hire a taxi and venture into the islands to the nearby clubbing capital of Faliraki.

The population was last counted 779 inhabitants and the major economic resources are agriculture (fine olive oil and citrus fruits), tourism and pottery.
