Corfu was a great destination which surpassed our expectations. It was nice to be shoulder season. Many restaurants and bars closed, but still plenty of choice.

Villa Kristefi is located in a rural area of Korakiana village, 1.6 km above the famous Ipsos beach, with stunning mountain views and a private infinity pool, close to Corfu Town. Set on three levels and consists of four air-conditioned bedrooms, sun terraces, and balconies, with facilities for sunbathing or relaxing while enjoying the view of Mount Pantokrator in the background. Ample space for a family or party of eight.

Layout

Two external staircases join the upper level with the lower floor, the pool terrace, and the self-contained basement.

All bedrooms are air-conditioned, and the living-dining room cools by the northwest-facing balcony doors and the refreshing breeze.

Steps from the parking area alight on the main entrance’s back terrace, opening onto a beautiful space with a living room, dining area, and a modern well equipped kitchen to the left-hand side. The living room’s French doors lead onto a front balcony over the pool terrace, overlooking Mount Pantokrator and the traditional village of Korakiana, with comfortable sitting and dining facilities.

An interior staircase joins the living room with the downstairs level, consisting of the main bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a twin, and a double bedroom, which share a family shower room and a second front balcony towards the pool.

This part of the house connects with an exterior laundry room for occupants’ exclusive use.

One of the exterior staircases connects the lower level with a self-contained studio, spacious and private, for family members requiring their own space, featuring a double bedroom with an en-suite shower and a front-facing terrace by the pool accompanied by stunning mountain views.

Pool and Terraces

The pool (7,00 x 4,00 m) at the front of the house has spacious sun terraces, charming surroundings, and plenty of sunbathing facilities.

The built-in Barbeque on the right corner of the pool terrace is an extra challenge should you wish to try your cooking skills and dine al fresco on one of those silent countryside nights away from it all.

The Location

Kristefi is an excellent choice for holidays, away from the noisy resorts, only a short drive from the airport, and less than 2 km away from the always lively and cosmopolitan Ipsos or the charming sandy beach of Dasia.

General Information

The area of Korakiana comprises of Ano Korakiana (upper) and Kato Korakiana (lower). A short drive away from Majestic Corfu Town and within easy reach of the popular beaches of the local area, Barbati, Ipsos, Dassia.

Ano Korakiana: Ano Korakiana is a historic settlement located 19km north of Corfu Town. The village was first inhabited during the medieval times and today it maintains a lot of traditional aspects of that time. Ano Korakiana was mainly populated by noble families who still give a dynamic presence with the well-preserved houses and the fine details from the 18th century. a fantastic example of traditional Corfiot architecture enjoying spectacular views over the Ionian Sea and beyond.

Kato Korakiana, now a busy settlement located just behind the ever-popular resort of Dassia, in easy reach of Corfu Town and on all the local bus routes. Once a 5 Century old traditional village around 1km from the beaches of DassiaDassia. It now has a cosmopolitan feel as apartments now nestle with luxury villas cleverly concealed by tall trees and verdant vegetation. The close-by resort of Dassia has all the main facilities you will need on holiday.

There are no large Hotels or Complexes, ideal for absolute relaxation and secluded from the crowds. A good array of village shops, Tavernas and Cafes line the main village area and Corfu Town is just around a 20 minute drive away.
