We hebben een heerlijk verblijf in het huis van Sofronios gehad. Vooral de mooie grote tuin met mooi uitzicht was schitterend. Sofronios en zijn familie zijn erg vriendelijk en staan klaar voor de gasten. Leuke attentie bij aankomst. Een prima plek om mooie strandjes en bezienswaarigheden van Noord Corfu te ontdekken.

Villa Limoncello is a traditional family house in Agia Paraskevi of Agrafι, away from the bustling tourist resorts, almost 1 km from the centre of the village and ideal for hikers of the unspoiled Corfu nature.

The house is spread out on one level, and it is beautifully decorated. It offers a beautiful view of the mountains and the surrounding countryside. It is spacious for a family or party of 6 people, with beautiful terraces for rest and sunny gardens for sunbathing.

Layout

There is a private parking lot at the front of the house, which leads to a furnished terrace across the width of the house and to the main entrance, which opens onto a beautifully decorated space with an air-conditioned living room, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen.

A small hall leads to a large family bathroom and three air-conditioned bedrooms, consisting of 2 doubles that share a rear balcony and a twin one with access to the front and side terraces.

Outside

The most crucial feature of Limoncello House is the lush garden at the back and the side, with stunning views of Mount Pantokrator and the valley at its feet, with the extensive olive grove and the colourful village houses scattered here and there.

Another notable feature is the tidy front courtyards with colourful flower beds and charming BBQ on the side for those wishing to prepare an unforgettable dinner in the surrounding traditional neighbourhood.

The Location

The house is the ideal nest for those who want to spend a beautiful time in peace or in the relaxation offered by a morning walk in the endless paths of the fields and hills of the area, accompanied by the simple local villagers, or enjoy the book, in the shade of a centuries-old olive tree.

Location

General Information

Sidari is actually two small coastal villages connected by a long sweeping sandy beach and two smaller beaches. With the effects of tourism over time, the villages have now merged together over the last few years making one large cosmopolitan resort.

The distance from Corfu town and the airport is about 40 km and the drive time is around 45 minutes. Sidari was once known as a small fishing village due to its close proximity to the Sea when in the early 80's tourism began booming Sidari was christened as one of the most popular tourist destinations. Year after year Sidar grew until this present day where it has become a large commercial resort providing all kinds of accommodation for tourists worldwide.

Sidari is certainly a very popular lively place awash with plenty of clubs, music bars and UK style pubs, all offering amazing nightlife!

Sidaris' main beach has been awarded with the Blue Flag and is adorned with a great deal of water sports activities! There are also several little bays with smaller beaches around the coastline. These beaches are located off the beaten track and are full of unrivalled beauty! Close by are rock formations of a particularly striking nature which form a huge number of tiny coves and narrow channels, this area is known as the Canal d'Amour (The Channel of Love) and is located in the area of Peroulades just a little further north of Sidari. An area of eroding sandstone cliffs that have formed several tiny sand and shingle coves, reached by paths and even ladders. The tradition says that anyone who manages to swim right along it will soon meet the partner of his or her dreams. This point is recommended for diving, when permitted, as the sea can become rough and choppy.

Explore fine sandy beaches in Roda & Acharavi ( North Corfu ) Travelling north-west around the headland, the attractive beach resorts of Agios Stefanos, Arillas and Agios Georgios Pagon can be found. Daily Boat trips to the celebrated Diapontia Islands of Mathraki, Othoni and Ericousa, Corfu's lesser known neighbours, approx. 7 miles away from Corfu can be taken. Alternatively, there is a daily car ferry sailing from Corfu Town.

Overall Sidari is known as a totally safe place to holiday, whether it’s for singles, couples or families, everyone is catered for. Everyone speaks English and you can be sure of all the known food favourites, exciting entertainment or never being bored or tired. this is the place where there is always something going on... a real home from home!

You will find entertainment from hypnotists to magicians, drag act, Elvis nights, quizzes, bingo, karaoke, films on big screens, and football of course!

If that is not your scene and you just want a nice meal and quiet drink you will be able to find this too.
