General Information

Gaios is the capital of Paxos Island and the largest port, serving large ferries, hydrofoils and sea taxis from Corfu and Igoumenitsa.

As the largest town on the island, Gaios is relatively small and quaint, with Venetian architecture, a labyrinth of side streets, and pedestrian squares along the seafront. Restaurants and snack bars are scattered throughout the town, catering to all tastes and demands.

The surrounding olive groves offer a high standard of local Greek cuisine, a must-try for every visitor. Local amenities include a post office, banks, a chemist, a doctor's surgery, gift shops, a high school, jewellery and handmade craft shops, as well as supermarkets, bakeries, and butchers.

Gaios has a range of waterfront bars, ranging from quiet traditional coffee places to livelier bars playing a variety of music. Taxis are limited in number, and the bus service is regular, and it enables you to reach the resorts of Loggos and Lakka or smaller neighbourhoods.

Gaios is one of the most popular and cosmopolitan resorts in the Mediterranean. Hundreds of VIPs visit Gaios or reside in their private properties every summer, and finding a place to stay during the peak season can be challenging.

Objekat je na prelepom mestu sa pogledomnna more, u mirnom delu, na 10 min. od centra gradica Gaios.Bazen je sa slanom vodom, pravo uzivanje. Plaza odmah ispod objekta je mala i prelepa ( pogotovo ko voli ronjenje) imate utisak da ste na vasoj privatnoj plazi!Sve preporuke!(EN:The facility is in a beautiful location with a sea view, in a quiet area, 10 minutes from the center of Gaios. The pool is with salt water, a real pleasure. The beach right below the facility is small and beautiful (especially for those who like diving) you have the impression that you are on your own private beach! All recommendations!)

A wonderful experience.

The villa was just fabulous. The pool was stunning with a sea view and perfect to have a quick cooling swim. A small beach was just across the road, beautiful and often we were the only people on it. Many other beaches, bars and restaurants within walking distance.

lovely and peaceful

we had an amazing stay in Paxos and the apartment was spot on. A little bit out of town, but within a 40 minute walk. Beautiful coves across the road and a lovely beaches within a 15 min walk or a short car drive. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday on the gorgeous island if Paxos. the swimming pool has excellent views and was lovely and peaceful
