From the moment we walked in the door we fell in love with this villa. Its probably one of the best, if not the best villa weve stayed in. There were provisions waiting for us on arrival. The kitchen was really well equipped and all the rooms were very well decorated with lovely comfortable furniture. The views were lovely from the patio, which was also really well presented and maintained. There were steps into the pool making easy access and the sunbeds were comfortable, especially the king size 4 poster sunbed which was well used by us. The owners were really nice and checked in on us a couple of times to ensure our stay was going well and that they were accessible should we need them. You could access a beach bar with subbeds, umbrellas and refreshments a couple of minutes walk down the steep road there was limited parking on the side of the road. You can also take a 20 minute walk into the beautiful town of Gaios where there are 3 adequately stocked supermarkets, ample shops and the most delightful marina that had plenty of restaurants to choose from. You can also get some gorgeous sunset photos too. Our stay was late September so was the start of the rainy season so in hindsight we would plan to visit a little earlier next time. We would totally recommend this villa to others

Location

General Information

Gaios is the capital of Paxos Island and the largest port, serving large ferries, hydrofoils and sea taxis from Corfu and Igoumenitsa.

As the largest town on the island, Gaios is relatively small and quaint, with Venetian architecture, a labyrinth of side streets, and pedestrian squares along the seafront. Restaurants and snack bars are scattered throughout the town, catering to all tastes and demands.

The surrounding olive groves offer a high standard of local Greek cuisine, a must-try for every visitor. Local amenities include a post office, banks, a chemist, a doctor's surgery, gift shops, a high school, jewellery and handmade craft shops, as well as supermarkets, bakeries, and butchers.

Gaios has a range of waterfront bars, ranging from quiet traditional coffee places to livelier bars playing a variety of music. Taxis are limited in number, and the bus service is regular, and it enables you to reach the resorts of Loggos and Lakka or smaller neighbourhoods.

Gaios is one of the most popular and cosmopolitan resorts in the Mediterranean. Hundreds of VIPs visit Gaios or reside in their private properties every summer, and finding a place to stay during the peak season can be challenging.

very pretty

Această unitate de cazare, de pe insula Paxos, a fost gândită cu gândul la turiști și experienta lor. Are foarte multa personalitate, mult mai frumoasa decât pot arata pozele și foarte confortabila. Priveliștea este superba, piscina este un plus, iar camerele sunt extrem de spațioase. Bucătăria este atât de bine echipata, încât nu vei avea nevoie de nimic în plus. Recomandam tuturor celor care doresc o experienta completa în vacanta lor din Grecia. Paturile sunt mari și confortabile, cele trei bai sunt un mare plus, terasa exterioara este atât de frumoasă. fantastic stay

We had a fantastic stay at the Airbnb. The furniture has all had a refresh from what I saw on the photos making it even nicer. But most importantly the host, Renya was incredible. Making an early check in possible, having some groceries even ready for us on arrival and in between giving us valuable tips en helping us out. I would recommend anyone staying here. The island of Paxos is really beautiful and the location of the Airbnb is great, with nice beaches close by and everything else also just a short drive away.

Amazing villa and pool

Amazing villa and pool in a very convenient spot outside Gaios on the road towards Longos, with a stunning beach just 5 mins walk away. Super convenient, host very helpful and was lovely to have our bedding changed mid week - a beautiful spot to wile away an afternoon by the pool with striking views over the sea to the mountains on the mainland.
