It was our first vacation in Corfu. A beautiful island! We had booked the Casa do Tina through our travel agency. The apartment has two floors. On the lower floor is the kitchen, living room, one bedroom, one bathroom and two balconies. One of them is covered, the larger one, which is suitable for the whole family for breakfast and dinner, has a sun blind. From the first floor you have access to two more terraces to the left and right of the house. One of the two terraces has an area for barbecuing. On the upper floor there is another bedroom, a bathroom and a third balcony with perfect views of the bay, Corfu Town and the mainland of Greece and Albania. The two balconies on the first floor also offer the same nice views but they are a bit more limited here because a lovely flowering bougainvillea and other plants (olive trees, etc.) partially restrict the view a bit. But one sits wonderfully in the green. The apartment offers everything you need. In front of the house on the street there is parking for the car. Access is through a garden door from the street. In Barbati there are no large hotel complexes or building sins. The infrastructure is good. Many small supermarkets (one about 50 m next to the house), taverns and direct access to the beach (about 200 m down the stairs), make the vacation perfect. A little street noise you have to accept.During the 14 days we were there, they cleaned three times, changed bedding and towels and the waste was disposed of. Even the dishwasher was cleaned out when we came back. An excellent service. When we had two small problems, EOS Travel immediately replied to our e-mail and fixed the problems! We would like to expressly thank you once again for the excellent, friendly and smooth communication with EOS Travel - it doesn't get any better than that! The vacation was perfect! We enjoyed the time very much and give our recommendation for Casa do Tina.
Barbati is a beautiful coastal settlement, situated 17 km north of Corfu Town. Laying around a natural bay with one of the most impressive beaches on the island, hugged by Green Forests and verdant hills, the true gateway to the celebrated North East Coast of Corfu
Barbati Beach is inviting, noted for its turquoise crystalline waters and small white pebbles, ever-popular for its cleanness and organization. With an abundance of sunbeds, umbrellas and watersports facilities and beachfront bars and tavernas, one even has a public swimming pool close to the water's edge. Small self-drive motorboats and Jet Skiscan be hired, simple and easy to drive, an absolute must to get the very best from this amazing coastline, a trip to remember for years to come! Uncover hidden caves and tiny beaches, stop off at Agni or Aghios Stefanos for one of the most traditional tasty lunches at one of the waterfront tavernas adorning the seafront. Continue on to Kassiopi, moor up and enjoy a coffee or shop for souvenirs and take a break around the most picturesque harbours of the North East coast. As you make your way back to Barbati, marveling at the stunning scenery of the northeast coastline, you will eventually return and time permitting a walk up to the main road is a must, where even more tavernas, bars, supermarkets and tourist shops can be found. This is the main road to the North East of Corfu, where more tavernas, bars and shops can be found along the way. The church of Saint Marina lies, majestically in Barbati Village along this road, where a festival is celebrated each year on 17th July. A traditional festival takes place in the grounds with a live band and a large barbeque with "Souvlaki and Spit-roasted Lamb can be purchased.
