We were blown away by the peaceful location. A very restful location but with wider access to beach and town locations if you had a car, a solution that I’d recommend. The villa was plenty big enough for five, with lovely outdoor areas to sit and admire the views from. The owners and EOS were really helpful and couldn’t have been more welcoming.

Galini Vines is an ideal stone-built Corfu house for those looking to experience authentic Corfu village life. The house is set all on one level in the village of Petalia Corfu, within walking distance to local tavernas and an hour from Corfu airport.

The property is in the Village of Petalia, with sunny terraces all day long. Petalia Village is rarely affected by any heat waves, and you will notice that you will probably still need a blanket during the summer nights. Nevertheless, an air-conditioning unit is in the lounge, and it is more than adequate to cool down the property if proven necessary.

Layout
Galini Vines House resides in 110 square metres of space, surrounded by 3300 square metres of land, including the property vineyard. The landlord will invite you during the winemaking period (September/October) to join in with the festivities and experience the local wine and winemaking practices. Those practices date back to antiquity and were transferred from father to son over the ages (with some adaptations, of course).

Bedrooms and sleeping arrangements:
- Bedroom 1: It sleeps two adults on a double bed
- Bedroom 2: It sleeps two adults on a double bed
- One extra adult, on a comfortable sofa bed.

The property has a garden. It is ideal for children, as it is fully gated.

Note: If needed, guests may also use the central heating for a cost of 10 euros per day, payable directly to the owner

Beautiful location high in the hills

Beautiful location high in the hills. We enjoyed our stay here! Must have a car and enjoy windy mountain roads. The house was comfortable and tasteful. Practical kitchen for meals. Nice outdoor space.
